FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring?
Just bring your instruments and any must-haves like spare strings. We’ve got all the essentials like leads, DI boxes, and stands ready for you.
Hungry? We can whip up some lunch for you from our kitchen if you let us know beforehand. And don’t worry about getting thirsty – we’ll have plenty of coffee and tea on hand
Do you require a deposit?
To secure your spot, we require a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session. We accept cash, card or bank transfer.
Is the space shared with other bands?
Nope! You’ll have the entire studio to yourselves. This means you’ll get our undivided attention and have all our resources at your disposal. So, feel free to play your heart out without any interruptions.
Can I take a tour before I commit to a session?
Yes of course! We are very proud of the space we have created and we are always happy to show people around. Contact us today to book your tour and talk more about how we can assist with your project.
How can I make the most of my studio time?
Preperation is key to avoid wasting valuable studio time. Here are our top tips for your session:
- Rehearse and then rehearse again! Make sure everyone knows their parts – forwards, backwards, and with their eyes closed!
- Know what you want to achieve. Are you recording demos, a final mix, ready for release? A single song, an EP, an album?
- Bring spares. Although we have lots of equipment that can be borrowed, we don’t supply breakables like replacement guitar strings, drum sticks or batteries. Breakages happen, don’t let it eat into your session. If you arent sure wether we have something, ask in advance!
- Schedule wisely. If you arent a morning person, don’t book your session to start at 8am. We have flexible schedule options including working over 2 days, contact us to find a time that works for you.
- Have an open mind! An outside perspective from another industry professional can be great creative input. Our experienced engineers are always happy to offer their ideas.
